When he will be back is unknown, giving McIlroy a chance to add to his total.<\/p>\n<p>He could pass Tiger before he turns 40 if McIlroy continues to play at the level he is.<\/p>\n<p>McIlroy is not only player under 40 who could take Tiger\u2019s title away from him.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p>Scottie Scheffler\u00a0is the biggest threat. The former Texas Longhorn is already No. 5 on the list with $75,134,784. He made $29,228,357 last year in his historic run.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Scheffler has a little over $3 million, but it is still early.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas are the next two players under 40 on that list in the 10th and 11th spots with $63 million and $62 million, respectively.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p>How close will McIlroy be to Tiger by the Tour Championship in August?
