The episode for Wednesday, June 4 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as everyone is making plans for Friday the 13.That’s the date when Dumas is holding his party, and it’s kinda fitting given we’ll get to see who’s behind the mask. Sort of. Maybe.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, June 4: Phyllis Scams Nick to Go with him to Europe; Adam and Chelsea Plan to Create a Scandal with Dumas to Keep Victor Distracted
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be miffed she just missed him in DC, but she has a back up plan.
It involves lying her tail off to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and hitching a ride with him to visit their daughter in Italy.
A subtle text to Amanda Sinclair (Michael Morgan) to get her on Dumas’ guest list won’t hurt.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be disappointed he wasn’t one of those invited to Dumas’ party.But it’ll give him the chance to create a distraction for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will stay on top of Adam for this, and it looks like he’s intent on keeping his word.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Phyllis is willing to lie or stretch the truth.
Her plans to meet Dumas in DC fell flat, so she’s going to twist things around and go with Nick to visit their daughter.
She’ll spin a story about being perfect for one of Dumas’ companies after she talks with Nick about him being able to take Chancellor.
She won’t mention she thinks Chancellor is a fit, and she won’t share anything about Amanda.

It looks like Dumas not inviting Adam to his party was a mistake. Or maybe it was meant as an insult?
Adam is miffed and Chelsea will point out Dumas is scared of him. She’s probably feeding his ego to keep him on point after he mentions using Dumas to create a controversy.
They hope it’ll be big enough to distract Victor from the Abbotts. It’ll be interesting to see what he has in mind.
Victor will notice and see through the ruse, but it’ll be worth the effort.
