The episode for Thursday, June 5 looks like it’s going to be an interesting character building ones and we may need some comfort food.

The comfort food will come in handy when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) lets Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) manipulate him into signing their agreed on contract.

Without reading it first. After Victor questioned his devotion.

How many times will Kyle make the same mistakes?

His news will be put on the backburner as meanwhile, Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will take a sharp turn for the worst.

He’ll barely be able to move and he’ll finally want to go to the hospital. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will call a doctor, and he won’t like his Cole’s lungs sound.

There are plenty of fan theories out there that Cole’s going to be killed off, the question is will it be an illness or lung cancer?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised Kyle did it again. And we’re sure in his mind he thinks he’s in control.

He has no clue what Victor is up to, and he’s blindly walking into Victor’s trap. Or so it seems.

A lot still depends on Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) putting Kyle in a compromising position.

We’d like to think he’s too smart for that, especially after signing on the dotted line, but this is Kyle.

All that’s left is wondering how big a crater he’ll leave after Victor stomps him. At least, he has Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) on his side.

For now.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Thursday, June 5: Cole takes a turn for the worst
We’ve been waiting to see how this would play out.

The timing with ‘Days of Our Lives’ mourning the loss of their beloved character John Black on screen following Drake Hogestyn’s passing last year is curious.

Like with John, Cole is dealing with a problem with is lungs. John’s were damaged in a fire, and Cole’s either from an illness or cancer.

We expect the writers are looking their own emotional payoff.

With that said, Cole’s going to take a serious turn for the worst. He’ll finally agree to go to the hospital, and we expect this to be stretched thin for a couple of weeks.

Since returning from Europe, he’s had an illness and hasn’t sought help. This makes us and others wonder if it’s an illness or something worse.

Lung cancer has been a popular theory, and if it’s the case it’s progressing quickly after going unchecked.
